The Profitable Retailer Mentor Program...

The Profitable Retailer is a retail advisory and mentor program for owners of independent retail stores who want to improve the profitability of their stores, and for new store owners who would like to improve their chances for success.

The program focuses on three areas of your business; strategy, execution, and financial application. Our experience working with independent retailers has taught us that many of our participants are strong in execution and financial application but do not have experience in creating a long-term strategy. I now know that this was the case with my own store. If I had created the correct sustainable competitive advantage then, I would still own the store today.

how it works...

Each week we’ll have a one hour call at a time that is convenient for both of us. We talk with some participants as early as 6:30 a.m. You also will have unlimited access to me via email, regular mail and fax.

We start the program with a free introductory call. We want to learn about you and your business so we can make sure the program is a good investment for you. There are times we discover that this program is not an appropriate solution. If that is the case with your business we’ll tell you so honestly. This call also gives you an opportunity to get to know us and ask us any questions you may have.

The Profitable Retailer program works for two reasons:

Since we are not as close to your business as you are, it requires us to ask questions that often reveal opportunities and challenges you may not otherwise see
The program requires you to dedicate time and focused attention to elements of your business that you may not otherwise do.
